1.         Text for Today's Lesson -  Isaiah 53:11b
2.         The chosen people of God were delivered from themselves and their worldly pursuits many times over hundreds of years.  Isaiah prophesied concerning Jesus and gave an uncanny vision of Him over 700 years before he was born.  This shoot of Jesse(Isaiah 11) came to be the one who would bear the sins of the world.
Questions for Discussion
A.         What are some descriptors of "Jesus" from Isaiah 53?
B.         From verses 4-6 we see the price Jesus paid for our sins, in what ways did he "pay" our sin with God?
C.         In verses 7-9 Isaiah points out three items concerning the trial, the death and the burial, what are             these points
D.         What was the result of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus from God's view.
F.         What are some of the first words of the women as they come upon the tomb?
G.         How many times did Jesus appear on His day of resurrection, and who did He visit?
H.         What are some important features of Jesus entry into Jerusalem?
