Torn Apart by Sin Discussion Guide 12-30-2012 Text: 1 King 12:21-22 21 Now when Rehoboam had come to Jerusalem, he assembled all the house of Judah and the tribe of Benjamin, 180,000 chosen men who were warriors, to fight against the house of Israel to restore the kingdom to Rehoboam the son of Solomon. The Kingdom of God was split by two aspiring sons of Solomon. Both had knowledge of God and His Kingdom, after all they lived in the shadows of Solomon and his father David. Just because you know what is right does not mean that you are going to do what is right. Both of these men sinned greater than all others before them. Discussion Questions 1.
