18  The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me,
Because He anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor.
He has sent Me to proclaim release to the captives,
And recovery of sight to the blind,
To set free those who are oppressed

Synopsis:  
God’s Church is designed by Him for everyone.  He has given us the tools to preach, advocate, free and help others recover from the struggles of this world. God tells us to go do something for other people.  What are you going to do?

2.    What does God want from His people?

3.    Who does God want to receive His message?

4.    What are three steps to bringing hope to the community around us?

5.    How can I know what behavior and lifestyle will help me end up with Jesus in Heaven?

Text: Proverbs 31:30-31
30 Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the Lord, she shall be praised. 31 Give here the product of her hands, and let her works praise her in the gates.
Synopsis:  
The woman of Proverbs 31 appears to be super woman with a capital S.  However, upon closer inspection she is the wife, mother and role model many of us had when we were growing up.  Usually we fail to see what we have right under our noses and do not appreciate what we have. 

Discussion Questions (Proverbs 31:10-31)
1.    What are our communities 5 values?

2.    How can these be seen in the woman described in today’s scripture?

3.    How do you act when you are not in the public’s eye?

4.    What is a mother’s goal?

5.    What are some traits of women that make them good to find?

Synopsis: Values according to Paul are like clothes. You put them on and you wear them everywhere you go. Our values determine who we are and what we do.
